Our neighborhood and those neighborhoods in West Menlo Park along the Santa Cruz and Alameda de las Pulgas, between Sand Hill Road and Avy Avenue, have for decades been trying to get critical safety issues addressed by the County and City. Unfortunately, very little has been done.
The Safety Initative then is an effort by the neighborhoods and bicycling community to elevate the safety issues, identify and document problems, and promote effective and responsive action to improve safety.
