Chloe Scott lived in our neighborhood for decades, a native of England, she enjoyed a life of dance, as a choreographer, dance teacher, Feddenkrais movement therapist, and founder of the Dymaxion Moving Company dance troupe.   Chloe passed away  at the age of ninety-four at her home in Lake Oswego, Oregon on September 9, 2019.

Alice and her husband founded Shady Lane 45 years ago to showcase their own artisan creations and they now help promote a group of local artisans, all women, who help out in the store and showcase the wonderful creations at Shady Lane. Shady Lane sells mostly hand created gift items but also purchase designs from local and international artisans.

UPDATE:   Thank you all for making this food drive effort such a wonderful success.  Special thanks to Kevyn Andrews.  Her organization of this food drive and its resulting success for St. Vincent de Paul's Food Pantry is a wonderful testiment of neighbors helping neighbors.

Luttickens has been part of community makeup well before the majority of people started living here.   It serves everything from gourmet coffees to spicy and flavorful appetizers.  We all know that many businesses are having extremely bad times with the pandemic, yet in this case we all can help.

Do you think speeding is a safety issue?

Our community, each of us, needs to take action to solve a long standing safety issue at the Palo Alto Way crosswalk on Santa Cruz Ave.   County has done virtually nothing and it seems they are happy to continue that mindset for a few more years.    Our community can make it clear to County management that this is not acceptable and that safety action is required now.

The neighborhood of southern University Park is having its Annual Neighborhood Hall☢ween Pumpkin Carving & Parade the weekend before Halloween.   Sunday the 27th is set for Pumpkin Carving, Apple Press, Parade, and Potluck.

My daughter Jennifer was always horse crazy. From the time she was three when she had her first painted, wooden rocking horse with real horsehair mane and tail, all she wanted for toys were horses. Our collection of plastic horses, corrals, fences, and barns, was rivaled by none.
