Public meetings for the recirculated portions of the Stanford General Use Permit Draft EIR will be held at in Menlo Park and in Palo Alto.

The last public meeting on the Stanford General Use Permit application before the comment dead linej, will be held at Palo Alto City Hall.  This is the last opportunity to make public comments and  to suppport your concerns and your neighbor's concerns about the significant expansion planned by Stanford in the comming years.

Our community's SAFE Committee members and the County met the first time on Monday, September 25th to establish a new County/City/Community Task Force for improving safety in our Santa Cruz/Alameda de las Pulgas corridor -- From Sand Hill Road to Avy Ave.

San Mateo County sponsored a community meeting at Oak Knoll School to hear from residents, businesses and schools potentially impacted by Stanford University’s General Use Permit and Environmental Impact Report.

The Nov 30th meeting at the Palo Alto Arts Center was well attended, standing room only.   The scores of speakers were very articulate and informed - many important points and concerns were expressed.

Santa Clara County will host a community meeting at the Menlo Park City Council Chambers to discuss the Draft Environmental Impact Report recently published regarding Stanford's request for a new General Use Permit.

Stanford is seeking permission to build almost 2.3 million square feet over the next 18 years. The plans include expanding the campus by 9600 students, faculty and staff.

The Menlo Park city council voted Nov. 7th to "agendize reconsideration of the City Council’s October 17, 2017, decision to waive the reading and adopt ordinances prezoning and rezoning the property located at 2111-2121 Sand Hill Road." On Nov 14 the council will address the issue.
